My wedding photography journey began in 2017, but it didn’t start behind a camera—it started as a software engineer. With a background in Software Engineer, I was skilled in coding and technology, but during college, I discovered a deeper passion: photography. That passion quickly grew, and I decided to leave my corporate job to fully devote myself to capturing life’s most beautiful moments. Starting out alone, with just my camera and a desire to learn, every wedding was a new adventure and a chance to refine my craft. As the demand for my work grew, it became clear that to deliver the high-quality, heartfelt storytelling couples deserved, I needed a dedicated team. Raja and Binay were the first to join me. Together, we shared a vision: to capture weddings not just through photographs and videos but through genuine emotions and artistic expression. What began as a small group of creatives soon blossomed into a professional family.Today, Weddings by Shivam is a team of 50 passionate professionals, including photographers, videographers, editors, cinematographers, coordinators, and support staff. Each member brings unique skills and a shared commitment to excellence and creativity. Our philosophy remains simple but powerful: photography is not just about capturing images, but about preserving emotions, relationships, and stories that last a lifetime. We listen to each couple’s unique vision and blend it with our creative expertise to craft memories that are personal and timeless.I had the privilege of meeting renowned filmmaker Vishal Punjabi, an experience that provided valuable inspiration and perspective. Interacting with him offered deeper insights into the art of storytelling and creative expression, which continue to influence and shape my approach toward delivering work that is both original and impactful.
