Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to fees paid directly to Indian Photographer Database (IPD) for digital platform features such as Client Gallery, client selection and FaceFind. It does not govern payments between clients, photographers, studios or crew members for photography or event services.

1. One-time event plans and Gallery extensions

IPD Gallery and AI Gallery plans are one-time purchases for a specific event. Eligible clients may also purchase a fixed-term Client Gallery extension for the term shown at checkout, up to three years per purchase. These purchases do not automatically renew. A later extension, if offered, is a new purchase at the price then displayed. An active client-paid Gallery term protects the event from ordinary photographer deletion or shortening, but it does not extend FaceFind/AI or automatically reopen album selection.

2. When a refund may be considered

We may approve a full or partial refund where a duplicate charge occurred, payment was captured but the purchased service could not be activated because of a verified IPD technical failure, or another refund is required by applicable law. Contact us promptly with the account email, event details and payment reference.

3. Used digital services

Because event plans can immediately provision storage, gallery access and paid processing, purchases are generally non-refundable once substantial uploading, client sharing, FaceFind indexing, guest usage or other material consumption has begun, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

4. Free event

The one lifetime free event is a promotional platform benefit, not a cash balance. Deleting the free event does not restore or convert it into a paid credit.

5. Approved refunds

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method. After IPD initiates a refund, the bank, card network, UPI provider or payment processor may require additional processing time; a typical bank-side timeline may be around 5–10 business days.
