Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 21, 2026
This is a placeholder for the Privacy Policy of the Indian Photographer Database. In a real-world application, this page would detail the types of data collected, how it's used, and the rights of users regarding their data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, fill out a profile, or submit a review. This may include:
- For Clients: Name, email, event details.
- For Photographers: Name, business name, contact details, portfolio images, and profile information.
We also collect information automatically, such as usage data and information collected by cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- Connect clients with photographers.
- Communicate with you, including responding to your comments and questions.
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share information as follows:
- Photographer profiles are public and visible to all users of the site.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We may share information in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
5. "Request a Quote" Submissions
Our 'Request a Custom Quote' feature is designed to connect you with the right professionals while rigorously protecting your privacy. When you submit a request, the information you provide (name, contact details, event information, budget) is handled through a secure, multi-step process:
- Confidential Admin Review: Your complete submission is sent directly and only to our internal administrative team. We review your needs to identify the most suitable photographers from our verified network.
- Anonymous Lead Sharing: We then share your event details—such as event type, date, location, and budget—with a small, hand-picked selection of top-rated photographers. Crucially, your name, email, and phone number are not shared at this stage. The lead is completely anonymous.
- Photographer "Acceptance": Photographers review the anonymous lead. If they are available and interested, they must explicitly "accept" the lead through their dashboard.
- Consent-Based Contact Reveal: Only after a photographer accepts the lead is your contact information revealed to them. This ensures you are only contacted by professionals who are genuinely available for and interested in your event.
- No Public Exposure: Your quote request is never broadcast publicly, sold to third parties, or posted on any open marketplace. This controlled process prevents spam and protects your personal information.
6. Contact Us
